NiCk grew up in Los Angeles and began studying classical piano at age 7. By his early teens he was obsessed with hip hop which heavily influenced his production/sonic aesthetic. He put all his time into making beats and produced a number of records for artists from the Chicago hip hop label, Galapagos4. after graduating with a BA in music, Sena went on to work under film composers Christopher Young and Jim Dooley as well as engineer/producer Greg Ladanyi. During that time, he contributed to the scores of Spiderman 3, Ghostrider, The Grudge 2,Neighbors From Hell (tv) and Epic Mickey (videogame).

in 2018, Nick scored his first feature film, 'Deep Murder', which had a score release on Lakeshore Records. He also scored "More Than and Athlete" for ESPN+ featuring Lebron James. His second feature film, 'Big Time Adolescence', starring Pete Davidson, was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival and was also released on Lakeshore Records in 2020.

2020 also saw Sena expanding into solo records with the release of 'You Dont Have to Wonder Anymore', a classical chamber record with Sena performing on piano.

In 2021, 'We Broke Up', was released by Vertical Entertainment with a score release by Lakeshore Records. Sena also wrote and co-produced multiple songs on the first season of "Generation" for HBO Max.

In addition to film, Sena has written for many brands including Disney, Magic The Gathering, Acura, Yankees, Ebay, PacSun and Nike.
